Public housing developments in NYC are home to 500,000 or more residents, many of whom face challenges related to safety, communication, and community engagement. Each housing development is governed by an Association, tasked with addressing the needs of residents, yet these associations often lack the tools necessary to effectively connect, engage, and support their communities or the number of members to make a complete board. That is where the Resident Smart System comes in.
For the past eight years, I have been dedicated to developing and refining this system and my company have already launched 32 Resident Smart Systems across New York City’s public housing developments. I firmly believe that expanding this initiative across all NYCHA would be a game changer, providing much-needed infrastructure to empower Associations, improve transparency, and enhance residents’ quality of life.
